FEB 2013 We haven’t sent out our press releases yet about our move in January { too busy to catch up! } yet we’ve already caught the eye of the Georgia Straight. Much to our surprise they scooped up an image of our most recent painting & did a lovely little write up too. “Vancouver Renaissance woman Heather Ross is a painter, a photographer, and a forager of eye-catching vintage treasures. Pay a visit to her recently relocated South Granville gallery and boutique, Heather Ross (2170 Fir Street), and all three of her passions are on display. At the centre of the room, a large wood table presents a mix of antique and modern treasures: sets of unusual goblets, aqua-hued glass vases, old-fashioned bottles, candles, and plants. On nearby shelves, milky-white ceramic plates, teacups, and creamers are neatly stacked among pieces of driftwood and other ocean-floor finds. Ross’s own paintings, which are clearly inspired by nature, hang on the walls, and her framed photographs provide calming backgrounds to her unique product displays”
JAN 2013, Our latest news is so exciting! After 11 wonderful years at the same location in South Granville, Vancouver….we’ve moved around the corner to 2170 Fir Street! We’re so excited also to have shifted over from our Heather Ross [ in house ] to our new name heather ross { natural eclectic }
The new space has 21 foot ceilings, polished concrete floors, exposed industrial beams and curtain glass windows. Despite the drama of the space it feels like an inviting art salon.
A green space park is being created across the street & a new French bakery & cafe is our neighbour next door. Our new location situates us perfectly between the art & antiques shops of South Granville and the new cool Armoury design district. We customer parking spot too : ) We’ve been pleasantly overwhelmed by the response & curiousity of newcomers that are discovering us for the first time & we look forward to the new inspirations this place brings!
We still need to update a few things on our website links, and tie up some loose ends…so stay tuned as we settle in…our facebook page will connect you to our daily updates.
JULY 2011, The 10 year celebration of Heather Ross [in house] was such a wonderful day on Sunday! I feel blessed to have such lovely friends and clients. The sun shone and the shop was looking especially charming after weeks of treasure shopping, primping and placing. People brought elegant bouquets, notes of affirmation, but mostly their enthusiasm and delight! Designers, fellow bloggers, friends, family and serious shoppers filled the small space and kept the pace busy busy! I felt like I was observing the completion of a cycle, and watching a new one begin with the unveiling of The Natural Eclectic. Thanks to my sweetheart Craig for all his love and support leading up to this special day.

A wonderful day ~ A wonderful decade!
Our boutique Heather Ross [ in house ] will be celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary,
Sunday July 10th 2011! We are grateful for all our abundance! Thank you.
In the 1st decade of the 21st century we forged dozens of invaluable friendships, painted/sold more than 100 paintings, sourced/recycled/up-cycled over 1000 finds & captured immeasurable moments of beauty. It has been such a rewarding experience and has opened so many other doors. I know these years have not been easy for everyone & thus am evermore grateful for our success.
We look forward to what the next decade holds and look forward to sharing it with you!

Congratulations Heather.
Looking forward to visiting you in your new space!
Thanks Colleen! It will be a great way to start the new year!
Thank you Terri!
This painting is called ‘The Weight of Water’ & you are seeing just a portion of it as it was quite large.This is the still life I have on the home page of my Heather Ross [in house] website, as I was very fond of it too. Lyrical, natural, fluid, grounded, evocative……
I LOVE that painting, and the entire scene…beautifully composed Heather. xo Terri
